Welcome to Graskop

Graskop1 Graskop2 Graskop3 Graskop4 Graskop5

A forestry village perched on the edge of the Drakensberg Escarpment and part of the Panorama Route, Graskop is a good centre for exploring the scenic attractions of Mpumalanga: there is the Panorama Route leading northwards to the Blyde River Canyon with its various waterfalls, God's Window, Bourke's Luck Potholes and Three Rondavels en route; the narrow, winding and very beautiful road to the charming, historical mining village of Pilgrim's Rest and the spectacular Kowyn's Pass leading down to the Lowveld and the Kruger National Park.

The Big Swing is rated as one of the world's most thrilling cable gorge swings. A must for adrenalin-junkies, it plummets 60 metres in 3 seconds! The less energetic (or crazy...!) will enjoy the scrumptious pancakes at the pancake bar.

Where to stay in Graskop is only a click of the mouse away.
